Craig is the Texas Nature Trackers Biologist with the TPWD Wildlife Diversity Team. He holds a Master’s Degree in Zoology and B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Management and is a federally-licensed bird bander. A native of Iowa, he has been a naturalist and interpreter for more than 30 years, from Minnesota to Texas. Craig has had a life-long love affair with the natural world but his newest passions, however, relate to his four beautiful (of course) granddaughters.

 

Known affectionately as the Wizard of Wildlife, Craig will be talking to us about native birds and state and national research going on right here in Boerne. Craig offices with me right here at the Cibolo Nature Center and has graciously agreed to join us on this cold day.
