On Monday and Tuesday, it was an honor to represent our Club at Boerne and Champion High Schools with the presentation of our two scholarships for each school. A big thanks to Rick, Susie and Kathy Funk Baxter for all their work in selecting some great students for the Mike Coyle Memorial Scholarships and the Gaylan Schroeder Memorial Scholarships. The scholarship recipients were:
- Kaden Kolacny - Champion HS Mike Coyle Scholarship - Going to Texas A&M to study civil engineering
- Ryan Lira - Champion HS Gaylan Schroeder Scholarship - Going to McMurry University to study business with aspirations to open his own welding shop
- Dustin Harris - BHS Mike Coyle Scholarship - Going to UT Arlington to study mechanical engineering
- Margaret Jane Kacyvenski - Gaylan Schroeder Scholarships - Going to Baylor to study business management and wants to start a nonprofit
